Rear strut bar?

Anyone install a rear strut bar. I'm working on replacing my rear deck trim piece to accomodate my subs venting into the cabin. I can hear the flex in the rear sheetmetal and a strut bar could remedy this. I have the Tein SS coilovers and when they are set firm for hard cornering the sheetmetal makes some noise. If I had a spot welder I would get in there and tighten things up a bit. A strut bar probably would too.

Also, does anyone know of some camber adjusters for our cars? Just asking.

Have you ever seen what the rear strut towers look like? There's virtually no room to add an upper-rear strut-bar.

edgalang,

yep! I've seen it several times. Since I'll be customizing a new rear deck piece I can incorporate a strut bar that is low profile and perhaps colored to "blend in" with the leather. These are just preliminary plans to address small issues. If I can't do it in a reasonable way than I'll press-on without it. Just another project of mine.

i think the best bet is to simply add better bracing (round or square tubbing) back there. the whole rear area is just bolted together, adding thicker metal or tubes would stiffen it up alot
