Rear Spoiler Suggestions

Hi all, I am trying to get a rear spoiler next. Can anyone give me some suggestions. A picture with the spoiler would be nice. Thanks!

I have the Inspire spoiler in mind now, but I think is hard to get.

Somebody posted a while back that they had mounted the M5 spoiler on the back of their TL, that looked pretty sweet if you like the "flush" look. Otherwise just get the OEM.

I checked the prior threats, they are either WW, M5, OEM, or Inspire. They all look sweet, but I want to see any special spoiler that is off the market. Anybody had any special spoiler with pics?

I want! I want!
I prefer the WW, or the M5 over the OEM. The OEM looks too Accordish, or like an afterthough, with the brake light in the back window AND the spoiler, BUT, that is MY opinion. I think Yee has an M5 spoiler, and Stan had a little spoiler on top of his rear window (not sure if he still has it, but it looked cool. Might look good with the little M5 spoiler). Look around, and see what looks good to YOU.

I know this is a thread about wings, but really I like the look of our cars without the wing or lip.

These days most "fixed up" or modded cars usually have some sort of aerodynamic piece on the trunk, whether it be a small wing, lip, or a freakin' huge whale tail. It's almost unusual (at least around here) to see a modded car without a wing of some sort. Since I love the TL's looks without the wing, and since it is indeed different, I've chosen to go without a wing.

However if you're set on getting a wing, IMHO, the M5 lip looks great. Good luck!

if you are talking about your sig, then the answer is yes. Looks very clean. Reminds me of the decklid off of an S500. Don't ask me why. Just looks clean like that.

Personally, I think the Value Sports Spoiler is perfect for the TL. Only bad thing is it's only available in Japan.

Value Sports rear spoiler is just awesome IMO. Contact ValueTL if you are interested in Value Sports or the Mugen for info. I hope
to buy something before end of the year.

Here ya go. The only thing is that it's a Japanese web site so you won't be able to read it. Just click on "sedan" and click on the TL.

Thumbs up Mugen Spoiler

I was just contacted by Mugen. They tell me the only colors it comes painted in for the 2002 are silver, black and gold. Retail $360, and I'm guessing around $225 wholesale. Will post price soon

Naw I wish they would sell them for that much. King is a perfect name for them because they have no other "authorized" mugen dealers except king. So hence the name the King.

billyvader, what valuetl means is that it's almost impossible to get the Mugen spoiler for anything less than $360 + S/H. King is the sole distributor for Mugen products - if you want Mugen, you have to pay the piper (in this case, King).

True, there may be other places that sell cheaper. But these shops usually order direct from Japan and skip King (the middle man). If you can get Mugen for $225 + S/H, please let us all know! I'd get the Mugen in a heartbeat for that price.
