Rear spoiler. How much does Acura charge to install?

Anyone have this done. How much does the dealer charge for Spoiler and installation?
I assume it's not easy to do yourself?

If I am not mistaken, you can get the Spoiler for $465.00 on this site (Shipping included). Depending on your dealer..1-2 hours labor to install. (I've seen them do it in 20 minutes. Everything else is pure profit)

I believe there's aftermarket spoilers that look just like the dealer's. They come with some kind of measuring device, like a tamplate or something to mark the holes so you have the exact location of the holes before you do any drilling (I think)

if you've gone to a body shop before, you can just ask the same people to drill the holes for you. it's really not that hard to install a spoiler. there should already be markings in the trunk that shows where to drill. simple process, i got mine installed for free.

Bozzchem: - Did you get upgraded spoiler springs to support the weight of the new spoiler on the trunk?

I don't know what you mean by upgraded springs, so I'd say that I don't have them.
The spoiler only weighs about 10 lbs. so its affects to the car are minimal. The only thing it did change is that the trunk lid has to be all the way up to stay up. Other than that, I can't see how it would affect anything else on the car.
Please explain what you mean by updated spoiler springs. Are you talking about the suspension springs? There's no way in hell the spoiler is going to affect the suspension. It's too damn light for that. My subwoofer box weighs a hell of a lot more than my spoiler does.
I'm curious to hear about this.

Here's a bump just to hear about these updated springs. I'm curious about what you mean. There is no way in hell the weight of this spoiler will require updated suspension springs.
The only update I could see as fitting would be an update to the springs that hold up the trunk lid. THAT is what can't handle the additional weight of the spoiler.
Don't even try to tell me that the rear suspension is affected by this mod. What happens when you install a 75lb. box with subwoofers in it?
BS.

Okay...this is what the dealer said so I do not know know if it is a load of BS or not.
When the trunk is opened, there is some sort of spring mechanism to keep the trunk lip balanced (I just looked at the set up in my trunk but could not see any springs or struts).
Supposedly when you add the spoiler, there is another piece/tensioner that has to be added or changed out to account for the extra weight of the spoiler. This is to prevent the trunk lid from coming back down on your head when you are reaching for an object deep in the trunk.
