Rear seat back removal?

So this may sound like a weird question (because it is), but has anyone tried to remove the rear seat backs? Is it possible, and if so, how hard is it? What about reinstallation? Unfortunately, as I'm sure you know, they don't fold down, and this means that some things simply have no way to fit, and all I have is this car. I'm saving up for a minivan (like the Town & Countrys we used to have), but can't afford one yet

Refer to the diagram: Reach between the upper and lower seat cushions near the seat belts and find the bolt holding the lower sear (circled in red). Then reach under the front of the bottom cushion and lift up to free it from the retaining clips (red arrows). Tilt the lower cushion as needed to remove it from the vehicle. Be aware that the seat belts may catch on parts of it.

The top cushion is secured by the bolts circled in Green. Remove them, then lift straight up on the back cushion. Again, make sure you've move the seat belts out of their clips and out of the way. Then remove the cushion from the vehicle.

I used some small spring clamps to hold the seat belts extended so they would stay out of the way.
