rear licennce plate screws

i want to add to screws to the lower part of my licence plate...and i just saw that there are no holes...i was wondeirng if anyone knew if the dealer could drill them out for me or soemthing...when i first looked at it...i thoiught there were covers casue there are to bumps there...but it looks like one peice..anyone suggest what i should do?

well why do you want to add bolts on the bottom in the first place? Its not like our plate is on the trunk so that everytime we close the trunk it makes a racket. You can buy a license plate frame. Mine has groves on the bottom so that it hold the bottom part of the frame and you just bolt the top. If you really want to. Drill some holes and put nuts behind the bumper to hold the two bolts. This will be a pain tho because you have to move the plastic covering under it to get at the nut. Its a lot of unnecessary work......just keep it like its design IMO.

well it rattles from the subs i just put in ...i should have said that before...

well i bought some 1/4 inch thick weather stripping and im bonna puit it around the plate...but i still need to secure it better...that one of the more prominent problems

I have the same problem, but im so lazy i havent even looked at the holes yet lol, but ya the vibrating noise it makes with the sub is annoying. If you find out a way to fix it let me know

Try using the thin 3M double sided tape (the ones for installing our emblems).

Or take some sheet metal screws and screw directly into the bumper.

My brother put a piece of cardboard on his... he cut it a bit smaller than the plate and he screwed the top and he twist tied the bottom. I work pretty good he has 2 12s... His is on a civic where the plate is right on the trunk...
