I have an annoying rattle coming from the rear deck of my 2000 TL. It is coming from the rear driver side corner. Can I take apart the back deck, is there some clip that may be broken. Any suggestions would be great, it is driving me crazy.

 

my system makes that rear deck look like a trampoline... any way of stopping this, put some bricks on it? hahah

 

o0ookay I think yall are talkin about the same problem as me, and if so0oo thank god b/c I thought I was the only one. . . .lol
Anyway I wouldn't even call it a system, but I do have an amp and sum subs in the truck and when the bass hits u can hear a wierd rattle towards the back of the car on the driver side like BIG said. . .
And of course I have no0oo clue what it is but I do know OR think its between the trunk and quarter panal. .

 

I have the same problem, and some have mentioned to take foam and stuff it in between the metal and the deck. I have yet to try this over the weekend, will let you know.

Alright, I stuff about a half inch foam piece into both deck areas, and still no luck. It prolly went down to 5%, but thats about it. As soon as I reach 30MPH, the rattling starts, and annoys the shit out of me. I will look into further tomorrow.

 

same prob here, mainly cause of the subs...i may even take the whole deck out, and put something else like a cut out of mdf there...its annoying..
