my piaa 912s are bothering tha f*@k outta me. They bulge out and it's really annoying.

I want to somehow push them in deeper. I want to cut the metal in the back. Will this be bad for my car? Has anyone done this and has it affected the performance of the car? I'm afraid that if i cut the metal something my mess up in my car.

I need a total of about 5 inches of clearance. How much metal would i need to cut? Has anyone gotten this much clearance, is it even possible? Please let me know. Thanks so much for your help.
