Post RE730's at Costco

I thought I'd share this with you: Costco can special order RE730's. They quoted me $128/tire (225/55 R16), mounted and balanced.

That sounds pretty good. How much is S&H from tirerack?

Yeah, I almost did it. There was a $50 coupon on any 4 Michelin's or Bridgestones good last week but I flaked. OEM's only have 6K. Probably go another 6k then get 'em by summer. BTW, Costco price includes lifetime rotation, balancing & flat repair. Not a bad deal.

Yeah, Costco suck. They stripped a lug nut on my last car. The idiot blamed it on the car being too old! More like he didn't hand tighten first.

I ordered my RE 730s from Costco. I've delt with them for tires about 3-4 time so far, and lucky I have had no bad experience with them. Here in Hawaii, dealers are selling the same size RE 730s for about $165, but Costco sells them for $129. Also, most places here mount and balabnce for $15 per rim/tire, while Costco does it for $7.50.

Just for fun, I looked up Tire Rack, and they sell the 730s for a bit cheaper, but when they calculate the shippig cost to Hawaii, I have to pay about $110 or so to ship the 4 tires As it stands now, I special order all my tires from Costco. I usually go home and re torque the lugs right away though.
