I have the Osram 6000k on order so I will be able to tell you like in a week or so. As far as anything, our cars come stock with Osram and not Philips. Both brands are European built. D2R is what the bulb plug type is...for example 9005 is our high beams and D2S is for projector style headlights. Hope this helps.

Let make it little bit easier for newbie.

Color Temperature
stock HID bulbs -> 4300 kelvin
up-grade HID bulbs -> 6000 kelvin (whiter & bluer purplish color)

Brand
stock HID bulbs -> Osram brand
You can up-gade your HID bulbs to any brand. However, Philips & Osram are most known brand for HID bulbs. They both are made in Germany.

Yes! Click on Osram 6000k Upgrade bulbs in my sig. I don't have a ton of pics yet, but hopefully this will temporarily suffice. What is wierd is that the bulb says the company is Xenstar when I ordered Osram. I am contacting the guy at the moment so please be patient.

Well here is the run down on the bulbs. The installation is rather easy once you get how to do it. The bulbs are beautiful, the first startup...WOW...that's all I can say! It starts out noticeable purple, and then go to blue and finally whitish blue. Driving with these are a little different than driving with stock. On some roads, the HIDs don't look like they are on...but trust me...they are! If you turn them off while your driving it become pitch black! On newer roads...OMG...these bulbs are so beautiful! I am like lighting up the way for cars nearby me! Unfortuantely I raised the bulbs a little to high, so I was starting to light up big rigs and signs on the bridge....need to slightly adjust them down so I don't blind the **** out of people. My friend who has the TL was driving behind me to go to a place to take pics and when we got there, he was like "Punk...driving with your high beams on!" I was like "WTF? I didn't have my high beams!" He was like, "Your joking?!?!" They are bright! I love them! I will need 100hrs before I can truly say if these bulbs are of good quality...so I will do another review when the time comes.

P.S. Something interesting to note, the stock bulbs on my car are PHILIPS! They weren't Osram as I thought. I wonder if this is something new with the new year Acuras...

here's the link for the pics.

At the moment...I can only confirm that it is for the 03 CL. Maybe someone with the 03 TL can pipe in. Isn't it ironic...those with Osram stock HIDs change to Philips 6000k while those with stock Philips HIDs change to Osram?

Well it's either him or the people at autolamps-online. Depends on who you want to trust. But seeing as a few people have ordered from him and have nothing bad to say, I figured why not.

Interesting...because when I replaced mine stocker's with Philips 6000K, my stock bulbs labelled "Osram" on it. With these Philips bulbs, it said "Philips" on it. I would be highly doubtful that Osram would label something else as their brand...I mean would you think Coca-Cola would label "Pepsi" on their can?? Just a thought.
