Today was the first day I realized that my car had some rattles in the inside cabin. It was bugging me to death cuz I couldnt locate where it was comming from, and maybe its not just one place its comming from, I mean I just feel when I hear that noise, it makes me feel like Im driving a really cheap car! It sounds like the panneling in the car is missing some screws or some crap! I know lots of yous experienced this problem with ur cars, but I didnt think it would happen to me thsi quickly, the car is only about a month old and has only 2500 miles on it!! Ne suggestions??

 

take it to the dealer...you're still under warranty...some of the squeaking is caused by the sunroof seal rubbing against the metal. They will put on some silicone tape free for you...

I had the same thing happen to me with rattles inside the cabin. The passenger sunvisor wasn't in the clip. I hope it's something simple like that.

I never realized that my TL had some cabin noise untill today my head unit doesnt work and I've been driving today with complete silence in my car..dag it sucks but what can i do?

Bro, i get depressed sometimes when the radio is off and I can hear all the rattles.... once the radio is blasting, i can focus on the power and aggressive nature of the 'S once again.

 

Wrong, dealers will only fix something that is VERY VERY obvious rattle or squeak... I own 2001 CL, I am very disapointed with rattles and squeaks.... When I go through bumps I hear this anoying sound: "click-click-click" or "tick-tick-tick". The worst part that there is no single location for the sound, it caming randomly from anywhere ... places like my front dash, door panels, seats, ceiling... you name it.
But you should not get upset... a lot of cars are like that (ofcourse I expected better quality from Acura, but its just like everything else).
Let me give you an advice - FORGET ABOUT IT/IGNORE/DON"T CARE. I learned my lesson.... searching for squeaks and rattles, talking with dealerships only made me frustrated, pissed off, and constantly being upset about it. My mental health is more important... you can't do anything about it, so don't bother..... you will only get yourself upset.

 

There are 3 TSB's out on the rattles, Acura is handling (or at least they did for me) I have no rattles and am completely satisfied. Rattle behind driver left vent, rattle around sunroof, and squeaky seatbelts. All fixed and my ride is completely quiet.

 

TYPE S Lady... do u know where I Can find info on that TSB ?? Thanx!
