Angry Rattles are Back !!

Damn it this is the 3rd time they "fixed" the rattle in the passenger side fuse lid area and now it's back !

I'm getting frustrated, every time i take it to the dealer they fix it and it's ok for a few weeks then starts again ... any suggestions ?

And what's all this talk of tranny failures ?? That's unusual for HOnda/Acura ....??

1. I have this exact same damn rattle on my driver's side on my Accord. I still don't know how to fix it. Apparently, if I remove the fuse lid, it still does it. It's gone if I remove the entire kick panel under the console. I think I'll put some tape there,.. although might be ugly, but might fix the problem.
2. The transmission problem is common among the Accords. I can't believe that it's extending into the TL family.. I am not sure what to say but to think the quality is never the same anymore since the cars started being built in US.

Lastly,.. damn, many common problems between Accord & TL.

I agree with the U.S. built cars suffering from more rattles and little annoyances like that but it may surprise you to learn that the transmission, the source of MANY problems on this and the CL board, is made in Japan.

The issue of transmission failures tells the tail that Honda/Acura are not mature in the V6 market while the 4 cyl. divisions stay solid and strong.

Check out http://www.autofieldguide.com/articles/090106.html .
Surprised to learn that these POS trannies are made in the good ole USofA?? No blame intended toward the assembly line Joes. The Honda engineers have been infected with the sloppiness that gnaws at the entrails of their peers at GM, Ford and DChrysler.
