Rattle/Chatter while in motion.

Hey guys so I have this rattle/chatter coming from the underside of the car in the front. I can hear it only when I give it light throttle maybe 1%-3% especially when reversing into driveways or just a short acceleration into a parking spot.

When I hit the pedal hard it doesn't happen. Everything is straight on the car I had no problems except for this annoying sound that's really hard to replicate into words.

It happens EVERYTIME!!!! while in D or R only when hovering the pedal at the lightest push of the pedal lasts for about 2-3 sec and then goes away. I got a hold of a stethoscope which doesnt really help because the noise only occurs when in motion 98% of the time. I've heard at a idle rarely just standing still.

All I came up with was a bad AC Tensioner but that's making a different noise.

Give the car about a 2k rev.
see if when rev come's down you hear the rattle.
If it does I would look into your cat.
And as low as your car looks in your avatar,
First thought would be you hit it off the ground and may be internally broken.
I just went threw that a few weeks ago.
It was a perfect excuse to get a high flow cat.

Also if this it not the issue try to get a video up for better diagnosis.

Cat, or exhaust heat shields would be my first guess.

Never knew vavles were under the car .
Stick with looking at the pictures bud.
Diagnosing problems is probally not your cup of tee.

OP This is not your issue unless your motor is trying to fart out valves like 03tlsnbp must be thinking.

TLer trash ,seams to be leading you in the right direction

^ i realized right after i posted that i wasnt even close i had just woken up and was still basically asleep. in fact if a mod could just delete that post thatd be awesome.

i agree TLer trash is right. i remember a couple years ago i had the same problem in my parents 07 RDX. couldnt hear the rattle at idle or when you rev it to 2K in park. the tech at the Acura dealer had to get under the car while i had the car in drive and i held the brake and reved it to 2K to hear the rattle. the engine needed to be under load to produce the rattle. turned out to be a warped heat shield.

i apologize to richardparker who seems to be extremely offended at my obviously incorrect post

Not offended at all man,
just don't want him looking under the hood.
I did not mean to come off so harsh.
But,weaning out problem sovlers from picture lookers is needed sometimes .
Because it can save people with problems, confusion+time.
just saying....
