"rare" tl color count
Hey guys, i was just wondering how many of you out their have the TL colors you dont see everyday. Laguna Green Metallic, Desert Mist, Eternal Blue, and Red. Personally i never ever see any Tls outside of NBP, SSM, and DWP. Aegon Blue Pearl is very popular for the type S. I have a Laguna Green TL-P.

I also have a Laguna Green TL.
I have never seen Desert Mist or Red TLs.
However, Laguna Green TLs are seen frequently in PR, along with Diamond White and Satin Silver.

I have a 2003 Noble Green TL-S. One of the reasons I chose it was the uniqueness of it. That and I wanted the parchment interior but did not want a white or black car. Since I have purchased mine, about 18 months ago, there are now two more NGP TL-S's near me. Mine is the only one with the gold badging though.

For the base model TL Laguna Green is very rare, silver seems to be the most popular. For the S - NBP seems to be most popular and ABP very rare where I am. I've only seen three in the past year in my town(which was a deciding factor in me purchasing mine). Constantly getting compliments and people asking if I've had it specially painted because they've never seen it before. Even when I go to ATL which is once a month I've never seen an ABP (gotta love it!)

I haven't seen the red in a TL, but I've seen the in the CL. I've seen pics of a TL with the red and I think it looks hot! What does dessert pearl and eternal blue look like?

1999 Laguna TL.....Well most of it
got primer on there too where my door handles, side moldings, hood squriters and emblems were
But Im gonna repaint it Laguna once my body work is done. Love the color
Even my two buddies might paint their accord and fullsize Chevy that color. They like how it can look like a really light gray color and sometimes look really dark. But I have seen one laguna TL where I live, and 3 where my parents live up near Sacramento. So they dont seem to rare to me. But Silver is EVERYWHERE. Totally played out.

Yeah, it's Nighthawk Black.. reason: somebody scraped past the car with their car, not really damaging it (was repaired) but the paint was mostly gone on one side .. the car was fully repainted in 2001.. in Nighthawk Black.

I shoot people
the one that I don't see much is that... gold color. When I do see one... it's usually someone really old driving.

'99 dark emerald pearl...i love it, especially with the gold emblem package. I think the dark green and gold go well together, makes it look classy i guess. Mines the only one ive seen of its kind, up close or in pictures.

I have the Desert Mist color on my 2003 TL-P. The color is similar to Naples Gold Metallic which was introduced in '99 and ended after '02. It's basically a darker shade of Naples Gold Metallic. You can say it's in between gold and silver. I wanted to get Satin Silver Metallic and opt for the Type-S, but I didn't like the ebony interior as the color combo inside the car seems awfully black and cold. I looked at the '03 ES300's black leather interior and it looked very nice in there, but it was out of my price range as everything was an option.

in almost 2 years, i've only seen 3 or 4 color combo's like mine..WDP/ebony....yeah, white is probably the most popular color, especially in florida, but its rare to see one with black interior.

It's hard to tell if many people have my color-Eternal Blue Pearl-, because it is so dark that you can't see the blue unless really up close. Correct me if I am wrong guys, but the EBP is the darker than Monterrey right?

Oh yes, Monetery is like a creamy silvery blue if that makes any since. Eternal Blue is like a pearly navy, thats how I describe the colors. Their both pretty!
