so i realize after purchasing a 99 TL last night that the bose radio does not read burned CD's, so i was wondering if a radio from a 01-03 tl would fit and work in my 99? i have the bose system so im guessing the one i get would have to be the same and can i have one from a 02-03? are the connectors the same?

 

Try searching next time, issue's been brought up many times before. Basically, the older stock HU's only play certain brands of CD-R's. I forgot what it was, but burn the CD @ the lowest burning speed possible.. that should help somewhat with it. Even the newer '02 - '03 HU's have a hard time playing CDR's that have been burned at hi-speeds..

Edit* Yes, the newer HU will fit into your '99.
