So they disconnected my battery to work on the car and I get the error code on the radio. I'm like $hit. Quick thinking, I reach for the glovebox and bang, there's the code. I punch it in, and again, and again and again....now an error msg! NOW WHAT????? HELP.... F@$&ING RADIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

take it to the dealer or call them up... They probably gave you the wrong radio code.... Its 5 digitis....

 

ok, heres what ya do.

First off, since you tried inputing the code too many times, the next time you go to input the CORRECT code, you will have to do it 3 times perfectly.

Second, put the key in the ignition, and turn it to the accessory position. then press and hold the "1" and "6" buttons on the radio. Then, turn the radio on.

That will give you the serial number for the radio without pulling it out of the dash. Then call American Honda and they can give you the code, or just call the dealer and they can do it for you.
