I am new to this page but it was the only one that came up when I did a search. I have a 2002 acura tl s type and am replacing the rack and pinion because it was leaking like crazy. I have all the bolts I can find removed and lowered the back half of the cradle but I still can't get it out! The rod that connects to the steering column is the issue. It hits on the lower lip of the fender. I am almost to the point of using my cut off wheel to notch it so I can pull it out. What am I doing wrong? Did I miss a bolt or do I have to completely drop the cradle to get it out. Please please please help.
