racing with 19's

for those of you who have 19s..how much slower is your car at the track? also...do you know of any lightweight but not fragile 19 and 18 inch rims?

the 19s added about .2-.3 to my 1/4 mile time.

If you've got the cash, and want 19s meant for racing, look into advan model 5s.

for 18s, maybe volk te-37s... hella lightweight & big all at the same time.

Are the LE37T's the same weight? It weighs 17lbs on a 18X7.5 inch rim. The LE37T is the same style as the TE37 only it's gunmetal with a silver lip.

I think the Le37s weigh a bit more. Anytime you chrome or do anything to the wheels...it's extra weight added.

I have Vault 18x7.5's and they are 17.5lbs. I have bent two of them in 8 months on potholes...
My seemed quicker with them for sure, but they are pretty d@mn fragile...
