Live and Let Live. Nice Kill, bro. Don't worry 'bout the spelling, nor the grammar. I get really messed up sometimes when I am reading these forums and if I reply to a post, I am lucky if I can hit 6 out of 10 keys correctly...

(I do try to use a spell checker before posting though, and that really helps to get the message across.

Damn dawg, I was in the passenger seat with another girl on the back and this hot chick driving the G35. We were heading for a hotel to do the wild things but then the hot chick driver said, let's find another guy and make it even...so we saw this dude in a TL and she decided to chase after him and ask him to "join" us...Oh well, this fool saw us and drove like a maniac as if he was running for his life. Anyways, after 90 mph or so, she backed off and said "nah, let's just do a threesome. That guy must be gay!"

Guys, I hate to say it but VTEC isn't a unique type of technology anymore. In fact, VTEC (not to be confused with i-VTEC) is actually antiquated relative to what you'll find on Lexus (VVT-i), Infiniti, BMW (VANOS), Jaguar, etc., models which feature continuously/steplessly variable valve timing instead of the bimodal behavior of VTEC.

From Infiniti's G35 info:

Molybdenum-coated pistons and microfinished camshafts reduce friction as continuously tuned variable valve timing channels air efficiently through the cylinders.
Honda builds a very nice engine and definitely pioneered the technology, but the TL-S' version of it isn't unique or even at the cutting edge.

Well, sarcasm aside, from many posts on this forum it seems that some people think that VTEC-style technology is unique to Honda/Acura autos, and use that to justify an advantage over competing makes/models (Infiniti, BMW, Lexus, etc.). As usual, one company pioneers a technology and others take it to the next level. With i-VTEC Honda is playing catch-up.
