It fells really good to beast a big V8. I was driving down a 45mph street. This mofo in a Mark 8 pulls out in front of me and does 35! I was like ok, I'll just pass you in the other lane. So i passed him and I was doing about 55 and now this fool is on my ass. I was like what F***?So i turn onto a highway and stop at the light. This fool pulls nexts to me so i knew it was on! Light turns green, 0-60 i have him by a car length and a half. 60-100 it turned into 3 car langths. Our TL-S are the shiet!!!!! Anyone raced 03 stick maxi, or G35 sedans or coupes, 03 eclipse gts, bmw 330xi?

 

It wouldn't even be funny how bad a stick '02+ maxi would be the Tl-S if driven by the right driver... i.e. someone who knows how to launch that car properly.... even if the TL-S gets a better launch than the 6-spd, the maxi will come back like a bat outta hell w/ those short gears and the twenty extra lb-ft of torque it's putting to the wheels..... i'd still love to see it live though!

 

Yeah a stick Max and a auto Max are like night and day.

I always thought that was the roman number was X but it's really a V. Yeah the Lincoln Mark VIII is a grandpa coupe with balls 290HP. My bad. Please don't :flamer: me anymore!

 

Marks were always considered the Mustang GT for rich guys. It's nothing I would care to be seen in but a big American V8 is a hoot to drive. And Marks and Continentals don't handle as badly as you think.
