hey everyone i got quoted $31,590 for a tl type s with the whole body kit plus spoiler from springfield acura in new jersey.....i want to know is this a good deal or can i do much better....any advice would help....thanks in advance

 

Thats a great price for a TL-Type S....I paid 31,230 for my TL-Type S which included nav, mud flaps, and a trunk tray.

I bought mine on April 21 2001...

Do what I did... make your phone your best friend... don't drive all over town trying to get the best price, you'll waste time and gas. I DID, on my first weekend shopping for a TL-S, then I gave up... thinking, I'll pick back up the next weekend... well, during that following week... I was getting calls from three different dealerships... I guess they realized that I was a serious buyer. So, I'd get a quote from say... dealership "A" then, I'd call dearlership "B" (and asked for the guy I had already dealt with), and asked if he could beat it... He'd beat the price by $50 or $100, then I'd call dealership "C" and tell them what dealership "B" had offered me... dealership "C" would beat it by $50 or $100... then I'd call dealership "A"... and so on and so on... I ended up with a TL-S (no navi, or body kit) for $29,800, which I thought was pretty good. This was back in May of 2001, and the TL-S had just came out in March (I think).

Oh, BTW... I don't think I was dealing with salesmen though... I think in all 3 dealerships... I dealt with the fleet manager. That was an advice given to me... I, also think it's better to buy near end of the month, especially if the last day of the month lands on a weekday. "The ball is in your court" if you play it right.
