Quick question for the TL-S owners

Hey guys...just visiting...I drive an Accord (hope that isn't a bad word around here ) And I'm on my second exhaust system...and I'm ready for a more quiet one. I was thinking about y-ing out my exhaust and using two TL-S cans or possibly more components of the TL-S exhaust system.

So my question is...what does it sound like stock, and how does the sound differ from regular TL?

Second...if anyone here has upgraded their exhaust and would like to get rid of their stock one, let me know...I'm in OH and UT.
Thanks a lot for any info...it is appreciated.

I hope it's not a problem if I post this in both TL forums.

Here's my lil Accord...doesn't really compare to some of rides on here...but here it...drop, 18's, kit, etc:

Later, Schmiddy

Thats a sweet looking accord! Our exhaust is pretty quiet and as a matter of fact I am thinking of getting a custom exhaust to make it a little deeper. Never really notice the exhaust note.

I just swapped out my stock exhaust for the comptech axle-back. I'm pretty sure our stock sounds the same as the TL-P.

I would be willing to sell my stock exhaust. I think brand new it goes for over $350. Give me an offer!! They are a year old. I can post pics if you wish!! Email me at rmarinls@nyc.rr.com.

I'm not sure there's a difference between the TL and TL-S mufflers, although this car sounds a little more aggressive than my 2000 TL did.

Accord looks sweet, btw

Yeah, I was wondering if the difference was noticable...this is from the Acura website about the TL-S:

"Exhaust flow is increased by 30% thanks to a larger-diameter exhaust pipe, an increased-flow catalytic converter and ultra-high-flow-capacity dual mufflers. While the TL Type S is remarkably quiet at cruising speed, it does have an aggressive exhaust note tuned to appeal to the driving enthusiast."

rmarin2: How does the comptech sound? That's another option I've considered (I would get the ones for Accord I guess) I am definately interested in your exhaust if this is the route I'm going to go...I'm doing some checking this weekend and I'll let you know soon. Thanks

Anyone else have any info?

Oh, and thanks for the compliments.
