I was only answering your question above. If you spin your wheels ONCE on dry ground, you wil be able to see the marks on the ground. Depending on how fast and how much you stomp on the gas, the result will be different. Normaly both tires will spin until one gets a grip. Then you car will pull a little to one side until the second tire gets a grip.

actually... the right tire will always start to spin first before the left one does (if it even does) when you peel out in the wet does the sterring wanna turn to the right?? if so thats because of what i just mentioned.. but if it peels out long enough im sure the left one will also give in.

I was able to spin both tires on dry ground. I know this because I turned around a came back and I had left two looonngg black streaks in the pavement. My friend was very surprised because even his big truck would only leave one black mark.
I guess limited slip diferential, or posi-traction is the proper term?

Good point, however my transmission has already been replaced since then. I was in a small accident and they replaced the tranny under the insurance claim, not under the recall. Acura was very happy to not have to pay for it. So now I've had this tranny installed since August, and I can feel it starting to slip between 2nd and 3rd.

Wow, that must have cost a hefty amount. I know my insurance was happy when they dodged that bullet. I was in a pretty bad accident, I think we're at about 18500 so far (although the insurance got the bodyshop to eat 1500 so far) and that was without a tranny. I had a flashing D5 light immediately after the accident but due to airbag reasons they disconnected the battery and thus cleared the code, hasn't come back since. If it had it would have been about 6500 more to replace. You don't wanna pay for that sucker on your own, it is one NASTY repair bill.

My little "accident" was when I ran over a rock in the road. I thought it was a brown paper bag and just continued on my way, till I felt this big "CHINK" and got shaken up. I jumped out of the car and looked under and saw fluids dripping all over.
I started to cry... and my girlfriend jumped out of the passenger seat to hold me.... such an emotional moment..
