quick help!!!!! please!

ok im putting a new shift knob on my TL and im trying to take the old one off i got the metal ring off of it now do i just twist the shiftknob off or do i have to unscrew something? i tried twisting it off but it was really stubborn so i dont want to force it

NO dont force it......if its a wood shift knob u need the allen key look at it carefully u should see little allen screws if there is allen screws u need a allen key to loosen them do not force it or you will break it!!......that happened to me lol

haha alrite well it's a leather shiftknob and im trying to put the wood knob on, yeah i could'nt remeber if it was a allen screw or not. Thanks for the input!

well there where no allen screws i just twisted with all my might and the knob came right off

yea theres no screws on the leather shift knob i didnt know which one you were talkin about but i just didnt want u to break yours like i did mine lol i ended up crazy gluing the wood back on the knob

i got mine from another member i love the wood, now i just need to get the burlwood steering wheel, hoping to find a TL in a junkyard with that.
