I just picked up my "spanking" new Satin Silver TL - S with navi and while peruzing the owner's manual, I noticed it said you should have received 3 keys: 2 black; and 1 valet (grey) plus a key number plate. I only received 1 black and 1 grey! (no plate either) Is the owner's manual wrong?? How many keys did you get when you picked yours up??

I got 2 black master keys, 1 key valet key and the number plate I got was made out of thin plastic...

Two Black with remotes attached, one Gray, and the number plate. The salesperson was also careful to point out that additional black keys are approximately $100 each.

I'd recommend that you contact your dealer ASAP.

the dealer should have given you 2 black keys (master) and 1 gray (valet) key. go back to your dealer and ask for the other master key.

That plastic card has the key number code on it. Make sure you have that and keep it safe.

I got 3 black keys, 1 grey valet key, and 2 remotes.

My dealer threw in the 3rd black key because I asked. If I had to buy it, they said it was pretty expensive.

At first, the salesperson could only find (1) black key and the valet key. He had to look around the managers office and finally found it in a cubby hole with some other keys. Maybe some dealerships separate the keys for a reason, I don't know. Definitely call them because you should have (2) black keys, (1) grey valet key, (2) remotes, and of course, the coveted chrome key ring holder. All of you did get one of those, didn't you?
