Hey All,
I have a few questions and yes I have done the searching for these, but want some more current info.
1) I just scored the OEM skirts painted, new in box, off ebay for $175 shipped, a GREAt find. I am planning on piecing together the front, rear, and trunk lip M5 by the spring time and having them painted along with my entire car (possibly). Who has recently bought the OEM, WW, or M5 lip pieces in their factory color, unpainted etc? What did you pay etc? From where? Any advice would help.
2) I want to upgrade my 99 taillights to the clear ones off the 02-3. Are the ones on ebay garbage for $150? Is there really a big difference versus getting used OEM ones? Where should I look for them? Etc.
3) I am going to get the SRI intake, either AEM or Injen, for christmas. I got the feel from the forum that either brand is strong and just a personal preference. Leaning towards the AEM. Also need comments.

1) No idea, I have an unpainted bodykit in my basement, I just don't have the cash for painting right now, so I haven't looked.
2) Alot of users here have gotten taillights from ebay with success. However, sometimes the two taillights that come have slightly different red colors. So you have to ship them back and all that nonsense. It's worth a shot for the money you save IMO though
3) Yeah, it is really a matter of personal preference with AEM and Injen. I think the Injen Type-R intake gets just alittle more hp gain than the AEM, but you also pay more for it. I'm going to go AEM myself though.

2) i HIGHLY reccomend OEM taillights. the DEPO aftermarket ones have this annoying SAEDOT stamp on them. plus the red looks kinda brighter and tacky. i got OEM tails and i love them. found them used on craigslist for 150 bucks.
3. go with AEM, its a bit cheaper than injen. i personally went with the SRI and i love it. at WOT it absolutely sounds amazing, like a car with flowmasters or a v8. members argue about 2 or 3 HP gains with a CAI, but unless your going for dyno hp, it doesnt matter. if your ballin, get a AEM v2, it sounds real mean but its about 120 dollars more than a SRI
