questions about CV joints....
i have this terrible shutter at around 40-50 mph while accelerating, i always thought that it was because i needed my car aligned (lowered on prokits) but went to get tires rotated and asked my mechanic what he thought it was and said that the cv joints were bad.
so my questions are...
since my car is lowered is this the cause of the problem? i mean i see many guys on here with cars lowered then most and seem to have zero problems.
now will acura screw me on my warentee cause it is lowered or do they have to prove that the cv joints are bad from lowering?
if i put my stock springs back on with my illuminas are they still gonna give me crap about it?
and how much damage coule be caused if i wait for like a month to get it fixed? whats the worst case scenario?
thanks for some advice.

well i would get a 2nd opinion on wether or not they are bad. you can inspect them yourself too. look for tears tn the boots, look and feel for play in them.
as for warranty?? thats up to the dealer. some might some might not.
worst case they breakleaving you stranded, possiblyu causing a accident. Typically a worn or bad CV will be making noise though if its bad.
The shudder, does it happen while shifting or while in gear?? or normal driving?

no under constant acceleration getting to about 40-50 mph mark it just really shutters. if i really accelerate no shutter. it really only seems to be at those speeds, any lower or faster it is pretty non existant.
