Question questions

i've been trying to access the search engine with no luck, I'm looking for the actual DIY thread on the fog light mod to release the high beams from DRL duty and just use the parking lights along with the fogs.
the next issue is i need to change the bulb in the fog lamp button, when i turn the fogs on there is no indication, i figure if i'm going to do the bulb i can probably do the mod at the same time/
last ? is right now i'm running an AEM CAI and am thinking of changing to a Comptech Icebox the only thing is i love the heavy breathing sound the AEM provides am i going to lose this sound if i go to the icebox of should i think about the AEM V2.
if i've made any mistakes posting this thread please be gentle as it is my 1st post

thanks fellow TLer's

you have an 02 TL, should be able to fix the dash bulb under warrenty

V2 is running 400 CDN in Toronto area, while you can get teh comptech icebox for a little bit less~

comptech icebox will have to get from Woodbine Acura coz it comes with warrenty

i have quoted for a V2 for 400 tax included, but don't think it worths that much, with that money i would do Comptech, since you can resell it with a gd price

i can hook you up if you want any one of them coz i know those guys and would get a little discount

i got one sitting at home now and will install after a 48000km tune up which is due next month

is your TL a type-S or just regular?

they want 1900 incl tax installed so i'm going to sleep on that one for now
i've read alot of the threads on the other mfr's and don't want any hassles with the fit as i've had other acura's and put the cheaper headers on and wished i hadn't

i drive a type-s

wow
1900 is very very expensive, esp your car is running over 200000 km

the price of the header is probably gd, but they kill you at installation

i bought a used one for 800 CAD, pretty gd isn't it?

thats why i'm going to sleep on it and wait to hear more on the other mfr's
as far as the 200,000 kms it doesn't burn any oil and runs very well
dam good $ for C/T as long as its in good shape,i'm assuming that it is

the place i go is pretty gd, and they only do modded cars

he charges about 70 CAD an hr, but he knows how to do a car right
