I would stick with only RWD. AWD will get too much traction and probably just chasing your tail, no pun intended.

Better question: Why do you want to abuse your car like that?

Just my opinion but I think there are better ways to get your jollies. Anyone else agree?

FRONT wheel drive, sorry mustang-man, welcome to the world of imports(japanese)... Most of them are going to be fwd... but if you want you can convert your tl to rwd... gonna spend an arm and a leg, but is it worth it just for donuts?

I don't get it either, Allout. I've bought donuts in my TL-S before. Does that count?

hehehe we have some donut lovers on this site...and yes I'm talking about the Krispy Kreme ones. Guys you would be stupid to attempt donuts in the TL. They are for sure not built for that kind of abuse.

If you want to have some fun, simply torque brake when racing someone, and see the look on their face when you smoke them off the line.

Torque brake for all of you who don't know is simply keeping your left foot on the brake all the way down, and revving with your right foot. When the light turns green, gun the gas and let go of the brake. You'll see how you fly back into your seat. Although this is horrible for your torque converter, it's under warranty...so who cares!!! If you're out of your warranty period, think twice about torque braking.

In my opinion I think anytime you have something replaced (doesn't matter who pays, Acura or yourself) you run the risk of it not being replaced correctly. That in itself can lead to bigger and more expensive problems down the road.

but if done correctly and poped into reverse at the right time and back into drive correcty you can creat some great 360's or you can do the J turn which is cool and a good way to create alot of burning rubber!

its easy to do donuts, all u have to do is find a slippery surface (wet road) go about 15 MPH step on the e-brake and cut the wheel. ;-) i do know how to do it, although i have never done it to my own car ;-)
