Question question for those running the D2r philips with

cleared headlights and the hyperwhite corners and hyperwhite high beams w/ the blue housing look. does anyone know what is the best bulb hyperwhite highbeam #9006 that would match the D2r 's the best? my piaa hyperwhites are dim compared to the philips 4000k headlights, and the color is off more than a few shades! thanks in advance... kman p.s. charles shadow and joey, i know you guys have them!

You mean the #9005 (Highbeams, foglights are #9006). If you are comparing them to Stock D2R then the Solaris is a very good match, and on top of that they are brighter than the stock 9005s (so I still keep them with my 6000K D2S). I'm using Solaris Ultra White, they might be 3-4 Watts higher than the stock bulbs so you shouldn't worry about burning your harness/wires.

Here check out the comparison pics between the stock and the Solaris 9005 highbeams. Read the caption to see which are which:

I don't think it gets any closer than that.
