Just want to ask. Im new to the board and new to my TL. Are the new taillights (clear/red) a direct bolt in to my 00 tl? Is there anything else I should know? I like the blacked out headlights but I dont have any other transportation so I cant send them away. Does anyone have any that they want to sell? Im looking to hook this car up and I want to do it all the right way. Thanks for all your help...

 

yes the red and clear lights are a direct bolt on. you will need a new wiring harness tho. or you can do what i did and just use duct tape to tape the old bulbs into the new light. it works just as good and you dont have to waste $40 on a wiring harness.

 

if you get the non-OEM versions from ebay you won't need a new wiring harness.
