Question On Seafoam...Where You At 01tl4tl

Imma Move to NJ the 17 or 18 or 19th of Sept. Just Thinking If I Should Seafoam Right before I Leave to NJ. As In...Put The Seafoam in my car..Let it sit for the 5 or 10 mins or whatever then from there Get on the highway to Go to NJ. (Im in NC).

well you'd have to be driving spiritedly, and in which case you'd be spewing out so much white smoke you couldnt see behind you. which would cloud up and block up 3 lanes, and then the PoPo's would come for you

For the desired effect of hot clean out, you need to do 20 minutes of 4000 rpm driving with up and down the speed and throttle range- using vtec a lot- not something I would do with a car full of stuff
Do the cleanout of the intake a few days before- and throw a can in the gas tank for good measure- it will clean the injector spray pattern on the trip

True that...Ill Prolly Just pour a whole can in the gas tank when I fill up right before I leave.
And do it through the intake tube thingy like the day before.

now why would anyone want to move to jersey just put a can in 1/4 tank, run it down to almost empty then fillerup. i do it every so often just to make sure everything is nice and clean.

You will get better gas miles at nite since there no traffic an you can drive little faster with open highway

less traffic to adjust speed for, cooler air temps, less ac use required and a fresh seafoaming-
your good to go!

Ive Been to Jersey and Back 3 times in 1.5 Months I think its time for some Seafoamin Anyways But Ill do it before I go.

If you want to be a fanatic about it- if first time, do it again in 2000 miles and run some in the crankcase then and change oil
If you buy off brand gas- Tier 2 as its known in the industry, run some every 2-5000 miles in the tank
Tier 1 gas, with cleaning additives- 5000-15,000- once a year or so
Gas is never going to get cheaper so get all you can out of every gallon
