question on removing broken header stud

I know it has been covered, but just want to clarify some things. Is there any way to remove the stud without removing the radiator. Don't really have any idea as to how to drill the hole into the stud without removing the radiator to allow room for the drill itself. Haven't tested anything yet, just looking at things so I can fix it tomorrow, hopefully. Any insight is appreciated.

right angle drill? or use a flex shaft type dremel with drill bit to drill the center and try and use extractors?

Got the extractor, just need the right drill. I'll try to source one that will fit, but if all else fails, looks likes I'm changing out my coolant a little earlier than I wanted to.

They make angle adapters for drills. Is the stud broken off in the head or is it sticking out at all?

Had 2 broken ones actually. Old one was sticking out enough, but the newer break was about 1cm in.

Took me several hours to do it, but everything worked out. I did buy a right angle drill adapter but it was just too unwieldy. Ended up using a right angle impact driver with a drill bit that was a bit too small. Just barely missed the threads of the head and had to use a socket on the screw extractor, but finally done. The one sticking out, just used some vice grips and turned it that way. At least I didn't have to remove the radiator.

Sounds a bit better now, so I think the small exhaust leak isn't there any more. Hopefully anyways. New problem is that the radio code no longer works for some reason. Time for some more research.
