Question for people with the comp springs...

Did you have any problems with noises...like knocking noises. My Acura dealer will not put on springs because he said that on every CL,TL and a NSX they maid noises so they will not mess with it. Also are the springs for the CL the same as the TL?
Thanks

That's bull - properly done there is no noise. These guys either are incompetent, liars, trying to dissuade you, or all of the above. If they persist, find someone else.

My Acura dealer loves me, my car, and the mods I have had them do. They have even asked me to leave the car there once or twice so people can see their handiwor.

I know..it sucks that they are like that. There is only 2 other speed shops here in town and one has never put them on a CL befor and the other put in my pulleys but bent some stuff in the process and then tried to tell me it was a defect from the factory! So i dont know where I would take it to have the work done. Also are the TL and CL springs the same?

If they do make noise, then it is because they trimmed away too much of the sleeve, I think. So, it would be the fault of the installer.
The springs are the same for the TL, TLS, CL, CLS, and Accord V6. Which one was it originally designed for? Who knows.

I have them on my car and no noises. But I also have the radio blasting all the time.

They probably didn't put the black spring tubes on the right way. They keep the springs from touching each other and making noise.
