both have springs for TL-S

TLon18's ,

Eibach & H&R have springs for the TL-S. Can't tell you prices but I was searching for them myself (I'll install one of these when the warranty expires...)

Eibach PRO-KIT -- part # 4041.140 drop -- front 2.1", back 1.6" (from what I read, they recommend the alignment kit as well)

H&R have 3 different choices for springs. Depending on what you want, the choice is yours. A lot of people on this site have these springs and really like 'em.

Comptech is the official / unofficial tuner for Honda / Acura. They have a loyal following around here too. I'm leaning towards Comptech / Eibach (both have well-established names in the tuning industry) but based upon what I've heard here, the H&R may be the most cost-effective choice for springs.

If you're gonna buy, check out ACP (autocarparts.com) -- Tim, the moderator, owns that site. Support this site and buy from him. My girlfriend bought me stuff from the site and she got the stuff without a hitch.

Prices range on the ACP site between $209-$275 + shipping. That's a fair price. Check it out. Hope that helps.

THERES NO POINT IN THINKING WHICH SPRINGS TO GET!!!...get the eibach pro-kit (2.1/1.8). they're the best, i have them & it looks slammed just enough. ive seen a tl with other springs that drop it around 1.5-1.8 and it looks like stock height.

Besides the height. I think Eibach are the worst springs I have ever seen. Bot a friend of mine with a maxima has them as well as my girlfriend in her infiniti.

Comptech and H&R's are very good. For the price the H&R's have and advantage. Neuspeed also have springs for our cars. I test drove a TL with them, and they seem ok, but the owner of the car, didn't like them and wanted to get H&R's.

For some reason the Eibach springs don't work well with stock shocks. My guess is the spring rate. They are better with aftermarket adjustable shocks, but still not good enough to recomend them.

IMO I would get H&R's or a complete system like Zeal's, Teins, mugen.

TLon18's, i just installed H&R sport springs on my car..IMO, they give the perfect drop for the car, not slammed like the eibachs, and not raked like the comptech..The H&R sports give the perfect level look..The car looks the way acura should have made it from the factory..And the ride is still very smooth and very nice, the ride still has the luxury feel that we all like..I strongly recommend H&R if you want a perfect drop, comfortable ride, and perfect price($100 less than comptech, $40 bucks less than eibach)..And the H&R's are made in germany, which means they have to pass higher quality standards than american products..The choice was simple and clear for me.

phantom, the H&R sport springs have a very similar look to the comptechs, just the back isn't all high(raked look), but rather on the H&R's the drop is level..I would recommend H&R's over comptechs anyday for several reasons:
1. Level look is much nicer than the raked look..IMO
2. Price for H&R's is $100 less than comptechs
3. H&R's made in germany, comptech's made in USA and comptech doesn't even make their springs, they have another manufacturer make them

Thanks for the info, one last thing, isn't it true that in order to get better handling you would want the rear to be a bit higher than the front?
