Question Question: Chirpy sound (Need inputs)

Guys,.......
This afternoon, when I started up the engine... i heard the chirpy sound coming out underhood....
So I opened the hood and checked ...
I noticed the sound came from the side where the Pulley kit was located.

Man, this is really weird ... this problem occurred randomly.
(Two month ago, I brough my car to Acura Dealer, and the technician told me that the problem might be at tension pulley.
And I got it fixed.)
I have no clue why this could happen all over again.

My guess is the fan belt.

That's where the chirpy sound came from my old car...sounded like I had a bird cage full of canaries under there!

I noticed that on my tl about a month ago, the chirping seemed to be coming right from the top golden pulley (power steering), it turned out it was the pump cavitating b/c the fluid was low. I had a nasty leak somewhere underneath. took it to the dealer, they replaced the whole steering rack, but didn't replace the pump. i still think they should have replaced the pump too. but hey its under warranty and its they problem.

just my 2¢ on the matter,
howard
