hey guys i got a 02 03 tl-s intake cuz my friend help me order the wrong, but my i got a friend that has a 99 tl and im wonderin if that intake would fit his car. im not sure if the 02 03 tl-s is the same as 99 tl but i juss noe its both 2nd gen. oh yea i hav a 3rd gen so i dont noe much bout 2nd gen thats y im hopein u guys would noe and help me out. thanks in advance

 

You have several options. You can have the additional length of the piping needed welded on, or you can cut part of the stock air box tubing and connect the intake there. Another member (nbennettksu) did that with his CL-P, so you may try PM'ing him, he sent me some great pictures.

 

well i mean like if the 99 and 02 03 tl-s intake are the same i might as well sell to my friend cuz hes lookin for one. tahts wut i was tryin to get

 

Oh, my bad. The 99-03 TL-P intake is a smaller diameter, though not much, and longer because of the VSA on the TL-S. They aren't the same, but like my first post said you can make a TL-S one work on a TL-P.
