Exclamation Question on AEM CAI install

Okay it was a b**ch trying to get the stock airn intake sytem out..

Question there are two hoses that went into the stock air box under the air filter. these hoses have greenish blue luid in them and looks like they connect to a small cooling system.

What do I do with thos two hoses - do I keep that small air cooler and keep the hose connected?

Help - I am almost done installing - but I dont want greenish blue fluid gushing out of the engine once I test it...

Thanks TL'rs

I have a 99 TL...

AEM install is very easy if you remove the bumper.

Green/Blue stuff is the coolant. All you do is reroute the coolant line. Basically you see where the coolant line goes into the air box and where it comes back out, you unplug it there and connect it so it bypasses the box. Just reroute it so you just make the coolant line going back to the engine.

The coolant setup is only in the 99TL and 98-02 Accords, 00-03 TLs no longer have the coolant line going thru the air box.

If you are installing the AEM CAI you do not leave the lower part of the stock air box. Hope that helps guys.
