Question about sway bar brackets.....
I bought a set of used comptech sway bars, and I picked them up yesterday....can't wait to get them installed.....thanks to bmw74!
I have a question about the rear swaybar....the two red bushings are still on the bar, but I don't have the brackets and bolts that are shown in the picture from the FAQ. Can the OEM bracket and bolts be used for the rear Comptech swaybar, or is the bar too big? If I can't use the OEM bracket, any suggestions how I can get a pair of the comptech brackets?? Anyone have an extra pair they'd be willing to part with? Also, where can I pickup some of the teflon tape that is used to wrap the bar with??
Thanks for your help, as usual!

i made the factory rubber bushings fit on the rear comptech sway bar by boring out the rubber hole with a hand saw. i have the red bushing from comptech but after using that for about 1 month they started to make noises ( and yes i did use the grease supplied and the teflon tape). as for the rubber ones, not a sound and no grease or tape needed.
