question about spring
The springs are an integral part of your car's suspension system. Changing the springs will most certainly affect handling and cornering which, last time I checked, is a vital element of a car's performance. Aftermarket springs typically lower the vehicle's height and a lowered center of gravity means greater overall stability while turning. These springs are also typically stiffer than stock, so road feel is increased to provide more driver feedback at the sacrifice of some ride smoothness.
If you're asking for the best performing springs, you'll find no easy answer to that question. A lot of people are happy with Comptech, Eibach, H&R, and other brands of springs. Comptechs have worked well for me. I'd rate the ride as smooth overall. Handling is improved too, but cornering grip wouldn't get much better unless I replace the lousy stock tires. The only thing I dislike is that the front springs lower more than the rear springs, but this balances out perfectly if I have cargo in the trunk or fat friends in the backseat.
