Question about service ..

I recived a postcard from my local Acura about my 52500 mile service, I am currently at 5120.
My question is, should I do this at the dealer ? or is there a better way and I can save money ?

Thanks

Most parts of any service are really DIY project such as air filter- cabin air filter- engine oli/filter change etc.
What exactly does your book call for?
Then ask the dealer what exactly they do- sometimes they add things they know go wrong
And ask a few private shops what they do for that service- look in the phone book
Dealer labor rate higher than provate shops
Do everything you can at home and spend the differance on better oil and filters

1. Replace engine oil and drain plug washer (whatever that is)
2. Inspect wiper blades .. already one that by buying Bosch Icons - Check
3. Inspect and rotate tires.
4. Check adjust fluid levels.
5. Inspect CV boots for damage

Air filter and cabin filter were changed 1 month ago.

There is a special sealing washer on the drain plug that goes in the oil pan.
Its a buck at the dealer or parts store.
Because the drain plugs has usually been overtighted past 29 ft pounds torque- I suggest a new one so you never have problems.
Some members never change theirs- because they tighten the drain plug correctly

I am guessing you are not a DIY person on the car, but oil change is the easist thing to do!
Any private shop- not quike place-can do the oil and inspect the CV boots for tears- its important they are not broken, and rotate the tires.
Personally- I balance the tires when rotated

Bosch Icons rule!

I also highly recommend having the brake fluid flushed EVERY YEAR.
It protects vital $$$$ ABS parts and may improve braking
