Question about mid resonator

I got my mid resonator removed two days ago by my local exhaust guy. Anyways not thinking about this but now having that removed will my car still be able to pass emissions in Ontario Canada? Also it didn't really make much of a difference what can I do to make it sound more like a G35?

i dont know about the emmissions stuff but i am sure that others have done it and talked about emmissions so just do a search for it.

The best way to sound like a G35 is to buy one. i have heard alot of exhaust clips and although they sound good they still do not sound like a G35/350Z

the small resonator does almost nothing. The mid muffler does the most. Also you will hear the sound difference OUTSIDE the car, not in. You wont have a problems with emissions. Mufflers and resonators do Nothing about emissions. Just sound.

The O2 sensors are before the resonators.

My 02 TL-P only had one resonator, the huge apple juice can one in the middle, I had it removed and had a 2" pipe welded in (this is also the same diameter as the rest of the exhaust pipes).

Yes, I hear a difference. Its not too loud in the cabin (which I like) and it purrs nice. I never wanted an exhaust system anyways. If your looking for a really loud sound, you should get an exhaust.

Check out my thread in the performance section, I posted a video clip.

exactly what i want. thanks man. i try my hardest on making this car as quiet as possible. i just dynamated the headliner on top of having the doors already. if you get a chance try it, you dont need alot just for the headliner, just a couple of strips and you cant tell a difference with just tapping the roof, next will be the floor.

kinda off subject..... sorry

Look under the car. Its located between the cat and the Y before the mufflers. It looks like a small muffler under the car (roughly where the back seat is)

stand behind your car, and get someone to rev it for you. You will hear a noticeable difference. I did.

I notice the difference but its only between 1000 to 3500rpm after thats its all engine. I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to the stock exhaust to make it even louder?

Thats it. You wont hear much more sound inside. Out side is minimal. Any more than that and its going to start bothering you with drone. Your best bet if you want more sound is put in a 14-20" resonator inplace of the mid muffler you removed and get a set of comptech axle back mufflers, or a complete custom magnaflow exhaust.

If you have headers, you will also get a little sound increase out of it.
