Question about floormats

Are the shape of the front and rear floormat from a Honda Accord (98-00) the same on a 2000 TL? Just wanted to know cause i saw these metal floor mats and the guy says they make it for the Accord and he doesn't know if it will fit a TL.

Very interesting... I wonder if they're slippery when wet?

I don't know if you have seen it, there are some old elevators with this kind of metal floor. Over time, there will be gooey stuff stuck on the ridges, especially gum.

Not something I would put in my TL. If it makes you happy, go for it. I think the coolness factor would wear out within a year though. I would think that it would get slippery on wet and rainy days, so make sure your foot doesn't slip when you accelerate or brake. Might cause an accident, you never know. Just my 2 cents.

Wait.... if your wife said you could get anything for your birthday, why wouldn't want to get something else..... like Comptech headers...

Has anyone used winter mats that are a bit less Mad Max-ish?

I was thinking of getting those Cannon/WeatherTech mats for the front.

Any opinions?
