Post Question about Comptech Springs

I'm picking up my TL-S next week and the first thing I want to do is get the Comptech springs to fill the wheel gap. I just wanted to know if the springs ruin the quality of the ride. If any of you guys with the Comptech springs on your TL could help me out I would appreciate it.

They don't ruin the quality of the ride, they tighten it up a bit... Go with sway bars also to further enhance the handling.. I have springs for almost 2 years, and the sways are waiting to be installed..

Springs AND Sways are the way to go. I drove a TL-S last week, and my '99 with Comptech springs and sways definately handles better.

I just had my comptech springs and sways put in last week. THe ride is smooth. It is slightly stiff when going over bumps....
Hanling is great...
If you don't want to void factory warranty have it installed at Acura dealer.
Park Ave acura is certified by comptech. You should check them out.

I'm getting my Comptech springs and sways done at Park Ave. Acura in Maywood. They are pretty close to you. It'll cost you around $950.00 for srings, sways, installation and 4-wheel alignment....and most importantly, not void your warranty. FYI, Park Ave. is certified Comptech installor.

Getting it done at places other than Acura won't void the warranty unless Acura can prove that the install was done incorrectly.

Why buy the parts from your Acura dealer ?
Support the site, and buy the parts right here.

I don't want springs just yet, but I would like the sway bars and urethane bushings, how would feel on stock springs, how would it drive?

are they progressive rate? would i be better off with eibach or h&r?

yup! I agree totally. I've only had them for 3 days now and they're not settled yet, but the bumps are a little more noticable, but not bad AT ALL!

It's funny that you guys mention Park Ave Acura cause that's where Im buying my TL-S. I saw the big sign they have there saying that they are comptech certified. I definitely recomend them... after I ordered my TL-S they let me take out their demo TL-S for a test drive on my own...that was awesome.
