On my g35 coupe, the lowbeams are hids but the fogs and high beams share a bulb that are h4's but the color is just like regular halogen bulbs. In the TL's from 99-2001, arent the bulbs also h4? I'm asking because the bulbs of the TL's in those years look hid. I was wondering if those h4 bulbs on the tl would give the same effect if i put them in my car. If so, how much do those bulbs go for? Any info would be appreciated..thanks

 

h4 bulbs are normal halogens...

 

ya i know but dont the 99-01 tl's use them?

 

can anyone with a 99-01 TL confirm whether or not the bulbs are h4 bulbs in the low beams or if they are hid

 

99-04 = lows beam = HID

I have 00'TL, if it was H4 i would of had 6000k in no time, and a lot cheaper

the halogen (9000 series) part is the high beam.
