Question Question

I figured this question would stir somethings up, but what do you all think about the TL Type S vs. Lincoln LS V8??? Personally I haven't driven either one, but number wise they seem almost the same...

ive never driven the LS, nor do i know any of the specs/prices. im assuming its more expensive....

the LS is by far the best looking american sedan i have ever seen. i still think id take the type S since japanese cars tend to have better reliability ratings

Indeed, the LS looks very nice, both in person and on paper. The real dissapointment is the transmission, though, which is lackluster at best and very poorly matched to the engine's capabilities. The TL wins easily in my book.

Don't know if the LS has been changed since its intro but when we looked at one the passenger seat was so short my wife couldn't stand it--especially the thought of long distances with so little support. Funny thing, the TL doesn't seem to have that problem.

Yea the LS has got to be one of the best looking American Sedans on the road. I would also just add my 2 cents that the Corvette is one of the best looking American coupe or roadster on the road today.

But I'd still have to go with the Type S like all my TL brothers did.

I havent driven the LS yet, but I heard that its v-8 is both underpowered and extremely noisy in the interior.

I owned a Ford (Contour SE) for 5 years, and it was a piece of junk. I owned an Acura (Inegra RS) for 8 years, and it broke once. Fool me once, shame on you, but fool me twice...

TL, please.

yeah the TL-S is cheaper... and more reliable and it looks like a younger person's car, not like the Grandfather Lincoln...
