When was it released in 2001?
i thought it was first released on street around May 2001.. but some say its Feb 2001??

PS. a model change for TLS in 04??

 

The 2002 TL was first available around March of 2001. They really screwed those guys who bought the 2001's that were out around October of 2000, if I remember right. The 2002 was just a "freshening" of the 1999 TL. The 2002 was the first year that the Type-S model became available.

The rumor is that the 2004 TL will be redesigned and available in the Fall of 2003. Who knows if they are really going to make us wait that long, if it really is being redesigned. Would they really keep the 2003's out for a year and 3/4? Makes no sense.

man.. those who got 2001s in late 2000 or early 2001s.. man.. just 2 more days..they would have got the slightly redesigned TL and a TLS option too..
