Question Quantum Tint

Hey all!,
I am interested in getting my car tinted in 20% quantum tint(I think it's metallic?) I want to order a roll and install it on my side windows myself and have someone tint the rear glass and put a black vinyl strip across the back window...

I have tinted vehicles of mine before (ok results on my old s10 and excellent results on my old 87' chevy spectrum turbo car, my car was so limo'ed out that I had to stick my head out reversing in the winter in alaska)

Does anybody know where I can buy a roll of this stuff??? I would rather take my windows all the way out (like I did my other car) and tint them myself and save a lot of money instead of paying someon $200 for basically labor when a HUGE roll of tint only costs about $40-60

The quantum tint is the greenish looking stuff right?? I think it would look great on my black 99tl!

Unless you want seams in the middle of your windows, don't but it. That stuff is only 12" wide.

Cool

Yes, the Quantum film is the stuff with a lightly mirrored finish. It is supposed to reject more heat than any other film, and have a llifetime guarantee. I have had all 6 side windows and the rear done with Quantum film from a local tint shop. All windows were done with single pieces of tint which were computer cut to a perfect fit. I'm sure that the problem with some people only finding 12" film is just availability to the general consumer. I think that I paid 140 for the whole car. I wouldn't spend the time to save $80. Good luck
