Take out both trannies. Put them next to each other, side by side. Compare, and swap over the sensors you see are different/missing.

The best decision ever made for your TL. I love the swap and cannot stop driving the car. Please please please make sure to use the torque converter from the accord and not from the TL.

Also fill it with honda DW-1 or Redline racing ATF. If i had to choose, i'd do redline. either fluid is synthetic. Something honda should have done years ago.

DW-1 isn't fully synthetic like Redline, but you can't go wrong with DW-1.

Ok the Honda tranny was put in an exactly 11hrs. I had 35min to literally test drive it. I had to jet from Laredo to Houston Tx for a show which was about roughly 300miles. I stopped twice along the way, and the car ran like a champ. The shifting is a lot smoother, and it drives so much tighter with nice. I recommend if your staying automatic go with the Honda. As I stopped at a checkpoint outside of Laredo, one of the border patrol person asked," What year my car was ,and if I ever had problems with my transmission". I busted out laughing as he said his transmission is starting to slip bad. I did pull over, and passed on the information I learned from here. Thanks again to everyone that posts, you guys, and girls are life savers, or rather car savers. I tried to take as many pics, and one video of the trannys side by side, and I'll call the mechanic at RAM PRO PRODUCTIONS in Laredo to give me a little info on what he used, and didn't use.

Yes but that is a manual not an automatic which will require a bit more work but can be done. Also if you want a manual transmission go with 04-06 tl manual or 03 cl manual since they have LSD
