Putting back exhaust resonator

Hey all, I have a quick question
I took out my exhaust resonator about 3 years ago and I want to put it back now. Could I just go get it welded back on? Does it matter that it's been sitting in my garage for 3 years? Will it sound like ass? Thanks for any input.

unless you have had it sitting in a bucket of water for 3 years, or have been using it as a BFH. it should be fine

lol no reason, I just feel as if I'm more mature now and I don't want a loud obnoxious exhaust. That and I'm sick of being pulled over every freaking week when drive in the wrong part of town.

You're turning into an old man bro

btw dont pay more than 50$ to get it welded back on... 25$ would be about right. after all, all they do is cut your current piping and stick the resonator in between and weld it...

haha everyone is saying that! Maybe it's because I wear these shoes.
Well yea I wasn't expecting to pay more than about $30 to get it welded back on, if they quote me more I'm just gonna be like "WHAT!?!?! Midas up the street quoted me $20 and I thought that was too high. You guys are uaually cheaper, oh well see ya later"

Got it done for $25. Sounds sooo good now, I'm glad I put it back. I missed the quiet ride. Anyways, Big Al's quoted me $50, I said screw that, then I went to Mineke and they said $66. I was like forget this so then I went to Midas and the guy was like just give me whatever and I'll do it real quick. $25 was fair I think, thanks for your responses guys.
