Compared to Rubber, Stainless Steel Brake Line will not expend with more pressure. When the Brake line expend (as in inside diameter) you have more volume for the brake fulid in the brake line, and less pressure goes to the brake caliper after all.

Stainless STeel Brake line can also improve the brake feedback (the feeling)

They don't expand when used therefore brake pedal feel is better and firmer - SS is better then a rubber hose.

To me they are a good investment and don't cost that much. You upgrade to x drilled or slotted rotors, some metal master pads, and ss brake lines and you can really improve your braking for much, much less than a big brake upgrade.

There's a pretty good article that explains ss lines and compares them to rubber lines here .

After reading the article I decided that my driving habits don't warrant the purchase of ss lines. Maybe it will help you decide. It's pretty informative.
